Printer, Monitor, Projector & Scanner Calibration

We provide a comprehensive monitor, printer, projector, scanner & camera calibration service based on the renowned Gretag Macbeth Spectrophotometers and ProfileMaker Pro 5.08 software. Like most things in life, "You get what you pay for" and in this respect GMB Imaging products are second to none. (No we don't have shares in GMB!). Monitor Calibration

We can accurately calibrate both CRT and LCD monitors (especially the Apple Mac LCD monitor), using our Gretag Macbeth Spectrophotometer. Please click the Monitor Button above for further details..

DIY Monitor Calibration

Please visit the "monitor calibration services" page for details on how you can rent an "Eye One Display 2" to calibrate your own monitor saving yourself the Travel Charge. Please click the Monitor Button above for further details. Telephone Support whilst you are calibrating your Monitor is included if reqired. You don't get this Pro Service when you buy your own Monitor Calibrator! Once they have got your money you are Essentially up the Yangtze without a paddle!

Digital Projector Calibration

We can now calibrate Digital Projectors using our Gretag Macbeth Spectrophotometer in conjunction with the Eye One Beamer. This service should be particularly attractive to Camera Clubs or indeed, anyone who wants to "look good" colour wise in their presentations etc. Please click the Monitor Button above for further details.

Cost £60.00 plus Travel Charge, currently VAT exempt. Site visit required.

Printer Calibration

We can calibrate virtually any desktop printer whose drivers support ICC profiles; this includes most Ink-jet and Dye-Sub printers but not all Laser devices. For cost reasons the Ink-jet printer is the most popular and is now producing true Photographic Quality when calibrated. Please note that an ICC Profile is required for each paper type, i.e. Archival Matt, Photo Glossy, Photo Lustre etc. Please click the Printer Button above for further details

Enhanced Printer Calibration Service

If you have an Epson R800, R1800, R2400, 3800 or 4800 or a Canon i9950 printer that has additional inks, we highly recommend that you use our Enhanced Service in order to extract the "Last Drop" of quality from these fantastic printers. Enhanced Profiles will also significantly improve B&W printing on virtually any Printer. Please click the Printer Button above for further details.

Remote Printer Calibration service

If you do not require a site visit for any other reason, we can calibrate your printer Remotely avoiding you unnecessary Travel Charges. Please click the Printer Button above for further details.

Cost £30.00 per paper for our Standard Service & £50.00 per paper for our Enhanced Service Currently VAT exempt.

Scanner Calibration

Our Scanner calibration Service includes both Flatbed and Film devices. The flatbed scanner is calibrated with a Gretag Macbeth "Reflective Target" in conjunction with their Spectrophotometer, and the film scanner is calibrated with either HCT or IT-8 Targets from Kodak, Agfa or Fuji.
